We greatly appreciate the support of our donors and friends. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance to Helen Keller International to protect the privacy rights of all visitors to our website and donors to our organization. Site Navigation

Our goal is to provide our website visitors with information about our organization in as straightforward a manner as possible. For this reason, we do not require you to register or provide any personal data to access any parts of our site. In addition, we do NOT use cookies to gather information about you.

Online Donations

We value your online donations and are committed to ensuring the safety and security of your transaction. We are in accordance with applicable laws and standard practices and use industry standard protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept your information. When making an online contribution the information you provide is stored in a secure location and is protected. We ask for personally identifiable details only to process and acknowledge your gift and as a means of contacting you if there are any problems.

Helen Keller International does use the services of outside vendors to complete the online donation process. These vendors may open and process mail and donations, handle credit card transactions, provide customer service and write acknowledgments. All of our vendors adhere to our strict standards of privacy.

Third Party Protection/Mailing Lists

Occasionally, Helen Keller International will exchange names with similar nonprofit organizations. Our donors have the option to request that their names not be given to any third party organizations. In the case of memorial or in honor contributions, we will send a letter to the designated recipient informing them of the gift.

Links to Other Sites

Helen Keller International provides links to other organizations as an educational tool for those interested in blindness and health and nutrition issues. These websites are not under our control nor are we responsible for any content on these sites. The inclusion of a link does not indicate endorsement from Helen Keller International.
