Tonya's Bio
Tonya Daniels is the Program Manager for ChildSight® New York, the domestic program of Helen Keller International. She is a seasoned nonprofit and business manager with over 20 years of experience in program- and project-based support.  Since 2000, Tonya has worked with ChildSight®, providing free eyeglasses to students with limited access to vision care in all five boroughs of New York City.  She manages a staff of up to ten and brings extensive experience in building partnerships with local companies, organizations, and individuals.  She works closely with the NYC Department of Education, advocating for ChildSight® and ensuring we provide students the best services possible.  Tonya is also a Board Member for Music Crossing Borders, an organization that provides world music education programs to underserved student in New York City, and has attended several conferences and lectures, including the Global Health & Innovation Conference at Yale University.  Tonya attended the College of St. Elizabeth for Business Management and lives in Newark, New Jersey.

Nancy's Bio
Nancy joined the HKI team in 2000 as a Program Manager for ChildSight® Connecticut, where she launched, managed and spearheaded the ChildSight® program in three urban school districts. From 2001 through June 2008, she managed all ChildSight® program activities in the Eastern Region of the United States.  As the Director of ChildSight®, she provides administrative and programmatic direction and oversight for all six ChildSight® U.S.-based sites.  She is also responsible for long-range planning and site development, including sustainability, budgeting, donor relations and report writing in conjunction with program senior staff.  She brings over twenty years of nonprofit managerial experience to her work at HKI, having spent her career specializing in program development and management, staff training and development and advocacy.   She is based at headquarters in New York City.
