Helen Keller International and Eating Orange!
New York, NY – Orange-fleshed sweetpotatoes (OFSP), often just thought of as a more colorful alternative to the white-fleshed variety, are saving lives in the developing world. Helen Keller International (HKI) was recently awarded $200,000 from the Monsanto Fund to improve nutrition in Tanzania by introducing this nutritious vegetable to the country.
