Vitamin A supplementation is ranked as the most cost-effective solution to global challenges by the Copenhagen Consensus.
A panel of global economic experts, including 5 Nobel laureates, issued a report, the 2008 Copenhagen Consensus, that analyzed and ranked the most cost-efficient ways to solve global issues based on proposals submitted by 50 economists. HKI’s programs were represented in 5 of the top 9 recommendations, including the number 1 – micronutrient supplements, such as vitamin A and zinc, for children.
